BRIAN QUINTERO – PRODUCER/DIRECTOR

Brian Quintero is a Canadian-Costa Rican Director and Producer based in Toronto, Ontario. Brian’s short film work includes; Walk Away and Days Gone Bye, which had a sold-out world premiere at the Toronto Black Film Festival (2020).

 “Oldtimers,” a horror-dark comedy film starring veteran actors Julian Richings and Conrad had its international world premiere at Fantasia Film Festival, winning the Silver Audience Award for Best Canadian Short Film (2022). It went on to win two more awards at San Sebastián Horror and Fantasy Film Festival for Youth Jury Prize Award & The Best Audience Choice Award for Best Short Film (2022). 

Additionally, Brian produced the feature film Last Resort which is now available on all streaming platforms & short film The Fore-men which has entered its sixth highly recognized awards contending festival.

DENISE BODAN – PRODUCER

Denise Bodan is a First-Generation Nicaraguan-Canadian; Producer, Writer, and independent Filmmaker based out of Toronto, Ontario. From a young age, Denise knew she wanted to be a filmmaker and bring her stories to life, shortly after completing her studies in Broadcast Television she began to work in the media industry producing her first short film Parallel in the summer of 2018. Since then Denise has followed up with; Gone (2019) and Cancelled (2021)  

Denise freelances and provides production services for some of the biggest names in entertainment and has been part of the production team on award-winning and top network shows. She also provides production support to other emerging Canadian talent in both music and film. 

Denise is currently working on her directorial debut and various of her own writing projects that would be based on her childhood experiences growing up in Latin culture. She would like to bring more representation to the Latin community in the Canadian Film/TV world. 

Recently, she has led produced a Crime-Thriller short film “Grievance” which will be circulating in film festivals this 2023 year.
